Power Moves Gymnastics and Fitness was founded by Queens native Candice Walker and began as a mobile gymnastics program that provided gymnastics training to fitness facilities and and youth community organizations. As the Power Moves family began to grow, the Queens Village location was opened and soon progressed with the opening of an additional Valley Stream facility.  Walker along with the staff team has over 20 years of coaching experience in the sport of gymnastics. As former gymnasts of the United States Association of Gymnastics (USAG) our staff team have extensive knowledge on the sport as competitors and multi-level instructors. The team has experience working with athletes at the basic beginner levels to the more advanced competitive levels of gymnastics.  In addition, the organization's directors, Coach Candice, Coach Delissa, and Coach Vaso have special training, licenses, certifications, and degrees in education, psychology, safety and risk management, and business.
